Ensures natural hair blends seamlessly
“My hair was pretty orange and bleached from my earlier colour job as you can see in the first photo. I went to Ana today and she transformed my hair! I wanted to go darker with more chocolate tones so that when my natural hair grows out it blends well. Ana took great care of me, understood exactly what I was looking for and did an amazing job! I especially appreciate how seamlessly she blended the colours. Highly recommend this salon.”

Offers consistently A+ service
“I’ve been coming to this hair salon for 7 years or more already. I’ve always gotten my haircut with Francesco. The service at the salon has always been A+ but the highlight of my visit there is Francesco. He’s a true artist who can tell you what would fit you well, what would not and he’s the only person I would trust to do as he wishes with my hair! Actually the only one I have ever blindly trusted. Like if his styling skills were not enough he also does wonderful UPdos for weddings and his blow dries are magical! He’s the perfect treat after a week of hard work!”

When we visited Salon Sweet William, nestled on the second floor of a Mile End building, we quickly understood why it’s such a beloved spot despite its less-than-ideal accessibility.
This intimate, open-concept atelier exudes a warm, welcoming vibe that instantly makes you feel at home. Its co-owners Trent Lowther, Samantha Diamond, and Bernardo Fernandez clearly bring their extensive knowledge of arts, culture, and design into every cut and colour.

Creates a welcoming, bright, and friendly vibe
“Finally! A salon in Montreal I can call “home.” Great vibe, bright, spacious, friendly, and most important, TALENT. I got the best cut I’ve had in YEARS from Trent. He’s an expert who knows how to cut based on what your hair IS, not what you wish it was. My hair is now flawless, shiny, swingy, and easy to style. He said it would fall right into place without much work and it does. Hallelujah! I also love that he has a vision and is cutting with growth and a future style in mind. I can’t recommend Trent and Salon Sweet William enough. I’ve gotten so many compliments and will definitely be back!”

The stylists are all uniquely talented and I always leave loving my hair and feeling great. I highly recommend this salon as it is up there with the best in Montreal.”

Explains choices clearly and comfortably
“I had a fantastic experience at Art’s Hair Coiffure with Sam! This was the first time I got highlights, and right off the bat Sam knew what suited me best. He made me comfortable explaining what he thought and I couldn’t agree more. I ended up with highlights that are subdued yet perfect for an initial experience, though next time I would probably go higher on the intensity. Sam kept me entertained all throughout. was very respectful and transparent in his actions. It was a pleasure meeting him. Highly recommend!”

Treats hair with quality products for over three years
“It’s been over three years since I’ve been treating my hair at Sam’s Arts Hair coiffure and my hair is now well treated and much stronger. I have also been treating my hair with Keratin and Jimmy has always done the greatest of work. The guys are super friendly and so welcoming. I highly recommend this place for anyone that is looking to treat their hair with quality products and get the best style within a friendly atmosphere. Thanks to Sam and Jimmy!”
