When we visited Spa Escape, we immediately felt the relaxing atmosphere greeting us. If you value soothing sounds and calming scents, you’ll definitely appreciate the vibes here.
We were extremely happy to find that they offer flexible spa services, particularly for those who want to save on various types of treatments. For example, clients can get a 90-minute massage for only $95, but only on weekday mornings before noon.
What we were most surprised by was that they also offer corporate and event-based services. We didn’t encounter a lot of spas that offer this, so it’s a massive plus for workplace wellness initiatives.
Just take note, though, that their cancellation policy is strict and rebooking is a challenge. We understand why such policies exist, but we also understand how they can be dealbreakers for clients with changing schedules.
Professional services
“This spa is great. It’s consistently spotless, including the bathrooms. I’ve visited twice and have enjoyed the various saunas/pools they offer. While I haven’t tried the restaurant yet, the customer service is has been good. I have had a massage once here and it was great too. The staff was professional.”

Awesome treatments
“Awesome. 4 months of spa treatments at their spa while visiting Montréal, and I can say that they definitely assisted me in my healing process. Never felt better. Went through 3 purges while here, and I’ve never felt more at peace, loved and cared for. The staff is amazing and I hope they stay this way.”

When we first arrived at Spa Centrale Parc, we were worried about the noise as it’s located on a busy street. However, we were pleasantly surprised to realise that the inside is peaceful, which was further elevated by the subtle aromatherapy.
Beyond the ambience, it’s the flexibility of services that really got us. Unlike other spas, their packages are shareable and don’t expire. This means clients can pick their own schedule and company without feeling rushed.
All of our team members also agree that they’re easy to book – each one of us had a good experience making reservations over the phone, with quick and courteous service.
We just didn’t like how they don’t communicate last-minute changes (for example, putting couples in separate rooms with no heads up).
We’re just a bit forgiving in this case because we were satisfied with the quality of service. Our team took note that they’re very consistent regardless of the therapist attending to the client.
Modern, clean, and soothing
“My fiancé and I had a 2hr couples massage today by Samantha and Eleonore and we left feeling truly like we were on another planet. Eleonore paid close attention to the areas I needed help with and loosened everything expertly! The atmosphere of the spa itself was also fabulous – so modern, clean, and soothing. Absolutely planning on coming back!”

Visiting spas, we were particularly looking for something different. And with Scandinave, we’re pleased to find their thermal journey option, which seems to be offered at this place alone.
To give you an idea, this involves staying at an eucalyptus steam room and a cold plunge. According to the staff, this focuses on a circuit of hot, cold, and rest installations aimed at a full detox.
For regulars, we’re happy to hear that they offer memberships starting at $2,250 per year. While it seems like a lot, we find it more cost-effective in the long run. This is because their individual services are usually on the higher end, and the membership discount will really help.
There are also key promotions like birthday perks and early bird deals.
Plus, they have these nice lounge corners that are perfect for tea and a bit of meditation – this is the most hushed out of the many we’ve visited, thanks to the candlelight ambience.
Plenty of space
“I was immediately worried by the amount of people that showed up the same time as us. Safe to say there is plenty of space for all in the spa area. The price is high but I noticed they offer last minute deals on massage therapy. We enjoyed our stay so much and didn’t want to leave. Hugo and Ying were professionals of their massage craft.”

Gracious and friendly
“My husband and I were visiting from Toronto for the week. We found you guys while walking around the neighborhood spontaneously and scheduled the hydrotherapy. We absolutely loved it. Eleanore was so friendly on the phone and Maggie was very gracious in guiding our experience. We were very surprised by how big the facilities were and stayed for 3 hours. Literally the highlight of our week! An absolute must!”

We won’t lie – we first heard of Spa Ovarium because of their famous flotation bath. And we have to give it to them for being one of the very few spas that offer this.
If you’re not familiar, this treatment involves being inside a sensory isolation pod that’s filled with about 2,000 cups of Epsom salt. We tried the 60-minute session, and we can say it’s worth the experience, considering it relieves both physical and mental stress.
We also love their prenatal NeuroSpa program. While other spas also offer treatments like this, we find their offering more comprehensive. Theirs involves a 60-minute light and sound therapy session, so the client gets into a meditative state.
The expecting moms we spoke with also loved the future parents’ deals they got with this option.
Unfortunately, we didn’t have the best time speaking with some of their staff, as a few of them appeared dismissive. We can’t point to any reason other than the place being busy, but we still wish they would handle clients better.
Great experience
“Great place and great experience! I took a high pressure massage with Angélie and it was magnificent. I really enjoy it and I’ll be back very soon. The place is excellent, and it was quite crowded. It is highly recommended to relax a little in the middle of your routine. So, 5 stars ’cause I can’t give 6 or 7 in Goolge reviews.”

Highly recommended massage
“A Wonderful experience. Best massage (massage with hot rocks) I ever had! I felt very good during and for quite some time afterwards (spiritually and physically). Emma was my masseuse, she is great! I would highly recommend this massage.”

5. Spa Diva

Location: 1455 Rue Peel

We conducted multiple visits to various spas, and we can definitely say that Spa Diva is one of the most luxurious spas we’ve ever seen. Everything is super polished and elevated, which we know many spa-goers appreciate.
Our team was happy to find that they have over 20 changing suites. And unlike other mid-range spas, these changing rooms come with a shower, mirror, and sink. They even come with a personal locker!
When we explored their lounge area, we were happy with what we observed. There are so many complimentary refreshments, including tea and chocolate-covered strawberries.
Now, if that sounds super posh to you, what may hold you back is their rates. Out of all the spas in this list, they’re the most expensive, and they’re not generous with promotions either.
That said, the perks are worth it if you want to splurge. There’s even free underground parking, which we think is a great accessibility bonus.
Spectacular services
“My fiancé and I had a couples massage at Spa Diva downtown for the second time this summer and we were floored as always with the great service and care. The massage was spectacular, my masseuse Annick gave me an incredible Swedish massage that was exactly to my liking and the lounge area for relaxation was beautiful and calming. Great staff, lovely atmosphere and impeccable service.”

Relaxing massages
“Spa Diva is amazing! The staff are very friendly and warm, the massage I had was very relaxing, and you don’t feel rushed at all afterward. You can sit in the lounge area and relax with a beverage or some food and just take your time and enjoy your stay. I’ll definitely return for future massages!”
