I looked far and wide, surfing the internet for an acne scar treatment, and talked to fellow Montrealers for recommendations. After much work, here are the top places I found that will finally give your skin the TLC it deserves!

We got in touch with Dermamode recently and liked all the different treatments they offer for acne scars. One of their more recommended treatments is microabrasion, which exfoliates deep into the skin, allowing faster healing.
Price-wise, they weren’t too expensive, nor were they cheap. Their microdermabrasion treatment starts at $175 per session. This treatment lasts for 30 minutes, making it one of the quicker options compared to others.
If you’re not interested in microdermabrasion, they also offer microneedling and chemical peels for acne scar treatment. For chemical peels, they have salicylic acid, glycolic acid, and lactic acid peels for different types of skin.
Their staff were also very kind – they gave us some advice on how to take care of our skin and were very caring during their treatments. Some clients even mentioned feeling comfortable and well cared for during their visits.
One drawback to keep in mind is their $50 penalty for missed appointments.

We learned about Dermazur when we were looking for a relatively cheaper acne scar treatment, considering our budget is limited. Like other clinics, they offer microneedling, microdermabrasion, and chemical peels, but at lower prices.
Their chemical peels, priced at $110 to $135, are among their most popular treatments. These include the peel of your choice as well as LED Therapy as a bundle. The cheapest peel they offer is their Peel & Glow, starting at $110.
We also recommend trying out their microneedling. Although more expensive than their other treatments, it provides greater flexibility, allowing for treatment of both the face and neck.
Some of the previous clients we talked to complimented how they felt very comfortable during their treatment in Dermazur. Their staff were very accepting and focused on getting things done and giving you the best results.
That said, you might want to book early for their treatments as it is difficult to do so.

We learned about Victoria Park Medispa when we wanted a more specialized and in-depth acne scar treatment. We were offered a microabrasion treatment which comes with their unique serum that penetrates deep in the skin.
Their serums offer different results, such as brightening skin, hydrating skin, and reducing sun damage and hyperpigmentation. They have a unique way of infusing those serums using their equipment.
But what truly stands out among their services is the Morpheus8. It incorporates microneedling as well as fractional radiofrequency treatments for the best result.
Talking with their staff was also very easy. Their clients said most of the questions were answered professionally. They also appreciated the clinic’s personalized approach to discussing the most suitable treatment plan for their skin.
However, we have heard some complaints from their other clients. Some of them got their bookings canceled without their knowledge. They also reported having a hard time asking the staff to fix it for them.

For beginners, they recommend minimally invasive treatments like chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and microneedling. These treatments are less expensive but require multiple sessions to achieve the desired result.
For advanced treatments, Clinique FaceMD offers Fractional CO2 Laser Resurfacing for damaged skin, Morpheus8 Radiofrequency microneedling for deeper scars, and Broadband Light (BBL) therapy for reducing redness and pigmentation.
